About us D.P.D. Ltd (Date Palm Developments ) is a small, Somerset-based plant tissue culture and nursery business, specializing in Date Palm plants for export. The company has over 30 years' experience in producing Date Palm planting stocks from tissue culture in our clean room micropropagation laboratories and Greenhouses. We are seeking a qualified maintenance electrician/ engineer to join our small engineering and maintenance team. The role requires a minimum Electro-Technical qualification to Level 3 (City & Guilds or EAL). Experience of the repair and installation of PVC, copper and steel pipework would be an advantage but not essential. All candidates must be willing to join the call out rota upon completion of suitable training.The role involves day to day electrical & mechanical maintenance and breakdowns, requiring candidates to have good working knowledge of 3 phase motor drives and schematic wiring diagrams.
