The work that Citizens Advice do in Mendip has just received a big boost with a donation from local Freemasons. St Dunstan's Lodge in Glastonbury has just given them £3,000, with a top-up of £500 from the Somerset Masonic Charity.

They donated the money from their general fundraising activities to Support Citizens Advice Mendip's work in the local community.

CEO of Citizens Advice Mendip, Ian Byworth, said: "We are very grateful to the Freemasons for their generosity and for supporting our work at a time when many people are experiencing great hardship. It's only thanks to the Freemasons and other kind-hearted groups and individuals that we can carry on helping those in greatest need."
