The children might be going back to school, but that is not stopping lots of events taking place in Glastonbury.

A number of these events in the Glastonbury area are being added to our recently revamped What's On section.

Our top event pick for this week is the Glastonbury Frisbee Tournament, which takes place at Tor Leisure.

Thirty-two teams from both the South West region and the rest of the country will be convening for a weekend of Ultimate Frisbee.

In a relaxed and fun atmosphere the skilful and athletic Frisbee players will be competing for the tournament trophies as well as Spirit and Party prizes.

At 5pm on Saturday there will be a "show game" pitting players from the South West and Wales against a "Rest of the World" team. Spectators welcome.

The event takes place on Saturday and Sunday (September 11 and 12), and for more information, visit the Facebook page here.

You can list your events - e.g. shows, films, sports fixtures, quiz nights, local markets, steak nights at the local pub, jazz choir rehearsals, or anything else - on our What's On page FREE of charge, just click this link and then click the black Nub It button.
