Somerset Reacquainted

This exhibition in Glastonbury is a response to the unique period of isolation and renewed proximity with the environment, experienced during the global pandemic.

Somerset Reacquainted is a creativity-in-isolation project established by Somerset Art Works for their artist members.

The resulting exhibition brings together digital imagery, film, writing and artist's objects to offer an insight into the creative processes of more than 60 Somerset-based artists during the Covid-19 lockdown.

Artists have been developing new approaches, capturing encounters with nature and explorations in their own locality.

The artists' work can be viewed as a valuable time-capsule and a collaborative document of a rural county in isolation.
