A Feast for the Prophet and His Bride and Greater Feast of St William Blake

Glastonbury

UNTIL Thursday 12th August

August 12 is the Feast for the First Night of the Prophet and his Bride.

Rose (Edith Kelly) and Aleister Crowley married on August 12 1903, allowing her to escape an arranged marriage.

This marriage, first of convenience, led to what would turn out to be one of the most important events in Crowley's life — the writing of the Book of the Law.

Today is also the Greater Feast of St William Blake.

Join us to celebrate this feast with a ritual and reading of William Blake poetry.

Bring your favourite poem if you want to read. £3 for room hire.
